New Feature Demo: Relationships
AI infused ‘Loneliness Tech’ is not a new concept but something I’m seeing in my world as a fast emerging category, that has the potential to get dystopian quickly.
It’s easy to just say put down your devices and go and socialise. But people aren’t. And loneliness is at an epidemic scale right now..
That makes it a big TAM for founders / creators to go after and for VCs to not ignore.
The solutions will often be well meaning.
But because of the levels of immersion, in aggregate, my concern is they will fundamentally break society or at least entrench and deepen the problem.
And yes I totally accept social media is effectively Loneliness Tech 1.0..
Which is why I can tell what comes next is going to be such a big problem!
